Thanks for the Memories (and Future Fun)

Thursday, November 29th, 2012

This is the time of year when we pause and give thanks for all of the good things in our lives.

You are one of those blessings. I truly appreciate you as a client and the honor of working with you and hopefully changing your life for the better.

I appreciate your willingness to make changes to your appearance, even though sometimes they seem difficult, so you will feel good about yourself and have more confidence. As you know, confidence leads to greater success. These are my goals for you and I work hard to make sure they’re being attained.

Thank you for being patient with the image transformation process. Sometimes it’s like getting your house remodeled. You may wonder what the outcome will really look like and it may take a while to actually see that outcome. But when it’s done, you (and other people) gasp at the outstanding results.

Thank you for being an awesome client!

Life After Divorce-Back to Work or Dating

Tuesday, November 20th, 2012

The unthinkable has happened. The marriage you thought would last for a lifetime has come to an end. Please let me express to you how sorry I am. I have been through one myself and know how devastating it is.

This may leave you in a situation of needing to enter or reenter the workplace. If you haven’t worked outside of the home in the past or it’s been a long time, this can be a scary thing. The first thing you need to think about when looking for a job, besides your resume and contacts, is your image.

How you look and present yourself is just as important as education, experience, etc. If you are dressing from a different decade (which includes hair, makeup and eyewear) or dressing from this decade yet what you’re wearing is not appropriate for the job you’re looking for, you will not get the results you need and desire.

How about the scary prospect of reentering the dating scene? Unless you were only married a couple of years, the dating culture and process has changed from what you were used to. Besides many things now being online/electronic, other rules have changed as well.

Is your look up to the challenge or is it buried in another time and place? You need to present yourself in a modern, fresh way. This includes hair, makeup and eyewear.

I have recently helped both men and women refine and update their image, which has led to positive outcomes in their lives. I’m here to help you present a confident, successful image in both situations. Call or email me and we’ll get started.

Do You Have the Perfect Mother’s Day Gift Yet?

Thursday, May 10th, 2012

What are you getting for your beloved mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend or other woman in your life for her special day?

Sometimes you just run out of ideas. I’ve got the perfect, easy one for you! Why don’t you give her the gifts of success and confidence in herself? You can when you give her the gift that instills those things in her while she is being pampered and cared for (which all women love but most won’t purchase for themselves).

I will caringly coach her in creating the perfect image that works in every area of her life, including professional and personal. This will create a confident woman who has a healthy self love and self respect which propagates success.

This may include color analysis, working in her closet to make it easy for her to choose outfits everyday, or shopping with her to take all stress out of the process. A pampered wife is a happy wife.

Either call or email me and I will create a customized gift certificate for you to present to her, based on the amount of time you want to give. Easy!

This is a perfect gift (and super easy) for all occasions including Mother’s Day, birthdays, graduation, prom, wedding, new job, and just because you care. She’ll love you for it!

I mentioned previously that I styled Conny Karman for her gallery opening where she won best of class at an art gallery. Her piece is beautiful and totally unique, just like her.

Conny is a stay at home mom who has an extensive business background in business. She is a jewelry artist part time specializing metals, usually sterling silver. As you can see, the necklace she created and entered is eye catching and very detailed. It took her many, many hours to create this.

Conny normally has a very basic, jeans and sweater or polo shirt look. She likes simple lines and colors. Her look doesn’t show her incredibly creative side. I wanted to bring that out and give her an edgy look for the gallery opening. We went shopping and I put her in some dresses she wouldn’t have looked twice at previously. When she tried them on, she instantly changed from normal to head turning. We decided on the dress and she liked another dress so much, she also bought that one for other occasions.

I also helped her select boots to go with her look and coached her on hair and makeup. I told her to complete the look, she needed an edgy hair style. When I saw her at the gallery opening, she looked exquisite. I stood next to her as person after person came up to her and told her how beautiful she looked. Shelly Culea, the person who created this gallery opening and is an incredible (and fashionable) artist, greeted Conny and told her she looked gorgeous. She also said that everyone else should have dressed just like her. !  Barbara Chappell, president of the Wisconsin Designer Craft Council, made similar comments.

One of the attendees of the showed was from Mount Mary College and asked Conny to teach a class there! Congrats Conny!

Enjoy the pictures of the beautiful, accomplished artist. Make sure you notice the necklace and earrings she’s wearing. She created them. Conny’s happy to create jewelry just for you. http://www.bigib.com

New Twitter Fashion Background

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

I am so excited! I won the creation of a customized twitter background from My Virtual Project at www.myvirtualproject.com. I was so excited (and still am) because I had a background that somewhat was related to what I do-it was the New York City skyline (fashion capital). It was okay but definitely wasn’t personalized.

When Susi Schuele, @mvpsusi, of My Virtual Project contacted me on twitter and let me know I won their monthly contest, I was thrilled. I knew her work was incredible and knew she would create an outstanding background just for me. Susi kindly and patiently took me through the process with several iterations until it was perfect. Susi took my ideas and made them awesome!

You can go on my twitter account @impeccableimage to see it, but I’ve also attached it since the tweets hide most of it. Here you can see it in all its glory. I love it and believe it totally represents what I do and love-assisting individuals and organizations with how they present themselves to the world.

I had a conversation with someone today who said you only have 5 seconds to make an impression on someone, good or bad. It may as well be impeccable!

Thank you Susi and My Virtual Project for creating the perfect twitter background for me!

Image Consulting for Valentine's Gift

Monday, February 8th, 2010

What are you giving your Valentine to show them how special they are? As you know, showing people you care on Valentine’s Day does not need to be restricted to your significant other. My husband is my top Valentine but I have other Valentines such my parents, kids and friends. They are all very special to me. My mother was of course, my first Valentine in my life, but I digress.

If you have a list of people you want to show them how much you care, giving them the opportunity to create more success in their life is ideal. For your wife or husband, a color analysis or wardrobe consultation will show them you put your money where your mouth is (because you probably make comments on how they look).

For your teenage or college age children, a dress for success session will teach them how to dress for interviewing and working in the adult world. The session can also include dressing appropriately for different social events. Give them the advantage so they will stand out among their peers.

Your friends or siblings will know how much you care when receiving a personal shopping session to assist them in purchasing new items for Spring.

Even your parents can benefit from image consulting services such as the eyewear, face shape and hairstyle analysis. Get them out of those 1980s glasses and into a current style that will compliment their face shape and personality. A hairstyle update may also be appropriate.

These are all gifts that keep on giving. Your Valentines will be reminded of you and how much you care every time they look in the mirror and see how great they look!

Everyone told me starting a custom blog on WordPress was so easy but I’m taking some time to work through it. I want it to look interesting and fashionable. We’ll see how much I can really customize it.
