Easter is almost here! This has always been a day that traditionally we get a new outfit to look our best at church and family and friend get togethers. Growing up, every year my grandma bought me an Easter dress and I loved our trips together to find it. I got to choose any dress I wanted, within reason, so it was a bit like “Say Yes to the Dress”. Of course my grandma had the final say but if I pleaded hard enough, she usually gave in.
Since we’re all grown up, here are some options to look your best (and what better excuse to get a new dress!):
This pretty, springy, floral maxi dress will take you from Easter to any weddings you may have this year. This one happens to be a plus size but they probably sell it in smaller sizes as well.
What’s better than a beautiful robin egg’s blue lace dress? This fit and flare style is great on many body types and hides areas we may not want to highlight. This is another dress that is perfect for Easter but will also work well for graduations and weddings and any other spring/summer event you may have. This specific dress is plus size but there is most likely a smaller size version.
If you’re more into pants than dresses, I’ve got you covered. Here’s a pretty floral jumpsuit that will get you many compliments. This picture shows something like a camisole so there isn’t as much cleavage and in case it doesn’t come with one, please wear one, especially at church. Then you don’t need to keep pulling things up.
Guys, I haven’t forgotten about you.
Yes, it’s a suit! Dress up! If you’re usually a casual dresser, ramp up your game a few notches and put something on that will get noticed and complimented. This suit is great for Easter but also for work, graduations, weddings and any other events you have this spring/summer. Light grey is a neutral and goes with most colors so go crazy and add a colorful shirt and tie with it!
No matter what your age, it’s never too early (or late) to dress well. This red suit makes a statement which says you’re confident and ready for anything that comes your way. For Easter you want to change out the very casual top it shows for a button up but after that day, anything goes. If you’re going to a more casual event, wear a nice, non-offensive t shirt underneath.
I hope these options give all of you some ideas when choosing your Easter finery. Happy Easter!
