Well, I’m on the last line of curly hair products I’m reviewing, Hair Rules. I gave this set of products quite a bit more than a week to get an accurate set of results.
I used the shampoo (without sulfates), conditioner and wavy mousse.
It doesn’t make your hair crunchy which is a major plus. It does a great job of making your hair soft. Unfortunately with my hair, it flattens out the curl as well. I think this is made for coarse, thick hair although once again, the women with the perfect hair told me it works for every kind of hair.
I recommend this for people with coarse, thick curly hair but not for people with fine curly hair. After all of these reviews, I’m going to continue to use Curls LLC. I got the best results from that line of curly hair products and they smell awesome.
Hi Kimberly, I just wanted to give an update for your review. I actually have thick course hair and I tried this product. The cleanser in the shower worked fine, it softens and detangles just fine. It smelled decent enough as well. However I tried the curl definer, not sure of the title but the blue bottle for very coily, kinky hair and it was a huge mess. I followed instructions to a T, to no avail. I drenched my hair in water, and I rang it out with my hands. I covered my hair in product and I ran my fingers through it as opposed to combing it and it was just weird feeling. First major issue, my hair is red and brown, the product is and stayed white. It was supposed to hold my curls but it didn’t define or shape my curls at all. Not sure who product is for but it wasn’t for me. I had let my hair air dry but I ended up washing the mess out and reverting back to my Wen, and Carols Daughter products. Thanks for your review.
Thanks for the great feedback Ashley. I have fine hair (wish I had thick hair like you). I will have to try Wen and Carols Daughter products that you mention. I’ve never tried those before. Thanks again for the feedback.
