Yes, we all love our cozy, warm sports team sweatshirts and sweatpants. The majority’s favorite in Wisconsin is the Packers. I doubt if there are many Americans that don’t own at least one sports team garment.
If you’re on the way to a game or playing in a game, by all means, wear your favorite team garments (with no holes or stains).
If you’re not participating in one of those activities, please refrain from leaving the house in them. They’re not appropriate in the business world.
Think about it. How many professional athletes do you see wearing sports garb in everyday life? Uh, from what I’ve seen, they dress very nicely-cashmere sweaters, button down shirts and if they’re very casual, they wear very nice jeans and an upscale t-shirt (with no mention of sports on it).
Move up a level: leave sports team wear for sport activities.
